Youth Climbing Coach (currently filled) - The person filling this position will assist with technique instruction and belay aspiring young climbers. Some climbing experience is a must in order to provide quality instruction. Good attitude is a top priority to be successful in this position. Applicants need to know how to belay and own a harness, shoes, and belay device.
Counselor-Belayer for groups (Now Hiring!) - This is an excellent entry level job offering maximum work flexibility. Sign up for the hours you want. Applicants need to be of working age, know how to belay, and own a harness and belay device. Perks include free climbing on the day you work.
Route Setter (limited positions available) - Do you have an interest in creating interesting climbing challenges for yourself and others? We are interested in seeing you thrive! Route setters can exchange time setting routes for month passes and/or day passes. Applicants must be able to climb 5.10 and/or V3.
Instructor (this position has been filled) - This highly sought position is the pathway to management positions! High quality Instructors are the core of the Stone Age Rock Gym experience. The job offers a large degree of independence. You will open and run the facility! A qualified candidate is college age or older, understands and can define what is bouldering/top rope/ lead/ and ice climbing, owns a harness/shoes/belay device, understands the mechanics, verbiage, and partner checks that go with a good belay.
