It's Your Birthday!
The Stone Age Rock Gym offers 2 types of indoor rock climbing
birthday parties.One is appropriate for ages 6 to 12, and one for
ages 13 and older. As youths reach age 13 they are eligible for
safety belay courses to learn how to control the ropes for themselves(See
Introduction to Climbing Package info)
Parties for ages 6 and up:
We will schedule a 2 hour climbing period for your party with
harness and shoe rentals. We pride ourselves on providing live
councilors (technically called belayers) to control the ropes.
Climbers will benefit and have an enhanced experience that comes
from having experienced councilors that give both instruction and
encouragement (Unlike a mechanical belay, such as at a fair). Climbers
may also climb unroped in our “bouldering cave” with
a low ceiling and padded floor.
An additional ½ hour is available for food and gifts.
We have a picnic table in a loft that overlooks the main climbing
area, which will be reserved for your party. You are welcome
to set up food and party favors (There are several pizza delivery
services in the area). Please keep all food until after the climbing.
The birthday child will receive a special gift, courtesy the
Stone Age Rock Gym, at the end of the party.
Reservationscan be made with 2 weeks notice and a $198 deposit
(M/C & VISA accepted by phone. There is a fee for time/date
changes). There is a $32 fee for each additional climber over 6
participants. Each climber needs to complete a Liability
Release Waiver form, which must be signed by his or her parent/legal
guardian and returned the day of the event. Call now to schedule

Parties for ages 13 and older:
We will instruct the participants on controlling the ropes for
each other (belaying). Climbing time is unlimited (until we close
at 10 p.m.) This option allows more control and direct participation
in all aspects of the climbing activity by the participants. Day
pass, gear rentals, safety/belay lesson included. Reservations can
be made with 1 days notice and a deposit of $224. There is a $55
fee for each climber over 4 participants. Each climber needs
to complete a Liability Release Waiver
form, which must be signed by his or her parent/legal guardian
and returned the day of the event. Call now to schedule your
